Food Is Fuel

At the end of last year, a handful of instructors and students attended a fantastic nutritional seminar and training session at The Strength Lab, led by CrossFit instructor and gym owner Huw Davis.
Huw educated us about nutrition and exercise, and gave use some sound advice about how to fuel our bodies effectively for training and fighting. Each of us who attended took something from what he said and have already felt the benefits of his advice, so thanks to Huw.
The FKSDA instructor team have always felt that good nutrition can have a positive influence on training, and with this article, we hope that we can pass on some of what we have learned to our students.
