The small band of fighters who venured north to Elgin to the Highland Challenge Competition had a fun day topped off with a couple of great results.

1st Place for Lisa in the ladies beginners light continuous section and 3rd place for Aime in the teens tall girls semi-contact section.

Morag was unfortunate to draw the reigning WAKO World Champion in the first round of the semi-contact ladies advanced section and didn't progress to the second round.

Patrick won his first fight in the mens beginners semi-contact section but was beaten in the second round of the competition.

The weather in Elgin was glorious with clear skies and a very warm sun heating the SBBA martial arts studio making spectators sweat just watching the fighters on the mats.

Thanks from all our students to Damon for his seminar on kicking techniques.  They all throughly enjoyed the session and look forward to bringing their skills back to class to practice on their peers in class.
