FKSDA (Fife Kickboxing & Self Defence Academy) was founded in 2004 and has grown and developed successfully from the early beginnings teaching freestyle kickboxing with supplemental training in self defence techniques.

Free-style kickboxing remains popular with kids (and parents), teenagers, men and women and we now offer three kids and four adult classes per week.

The core of our self defence classes are the world renowned Personal Defence Readiness and Krav Maga systems.  P.D.R. incorporates the S.P.E.A.R. System used extensively by British and U.S. Law Enforcement and Military.  Krav Maga is a global success, being taught extensively to Police forces worldwide, the FBI and featuring heavily in the Bourne Trilogy films.

All of our instructors are insured, CRB checked through Disclosure Scotland, First Aid qualified and attend coaching development course with Sport Coach UK, Sport Scotland and our martial arts association Compete Scotland.
