Kickboxing Grading 11:30am - 2:00pm Dalgety Bay Leisure Centre £15
Ladies and Gentlemen it is that time again. Fife Kickboxing hold gradings every 4 months to test the attitude, fitness and ability of students who are ready and prepared to grade.
Students must apply to grade by completing an application form and paying the grading fee. Students must have a Compete Scotland valid licence.
You are to be at the leisure centre for 11:15am in full uniform (including belt if applicable) and fully prepared with plenty water and/ or sports drinks. The instructors recommend you bring something small to eat, such as a banana or glucose sweets or sport drink to help prevent nausea and "the shakes" due to the intensity of the grading.
Should you have any questions relating to the grading of your readiness to apply please speak with one of the instructors.
For the first time there will be a Black Belt Grading held in conjunction with a standard class grading. The timings of the day will be confirmed shortly but there will be an overlap in the two gradings.
I've been threatening to organise a group of FKSDA students to train up to take part in this race for a couple of years now. So this year we're ahead of schedule and ready to train up for a great fun event.
The race starts in Kinghorn village and proceeds down the hill to the beach. The route then takes you out to the Black Rock, about 2.5 miles from the start, which you run around and then return back along the beach and up the hill to the finish.
